Party Break!

This past weekend was my sweet niece E's 1st birthday party. I helped my sister decorate her house and this is what we came up with. What a great party! Good job, Mo!

Before The Mess!

We continue to unpack feverishly and I finally can see some progress! Thank goodness because all the clutter/boxes/mess drives me INSANE. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm pretty rigid and can't stand disorganization. It makes me grumpy :) So, of course I can't show you any photos until it's organized, etc. Here's a tour of the house pre-chaos/boxes/mess.

Still desperately needs landscaping!

Tick Tock....Tick Tock?

Movers are scheduled. Boxes are packed. Now, we just need to go to closing! Of course, that date has changed several times and we are still waiting for a final closing date. It's enough to drive you crazy!-or, crazier in my case :) But, the good news is the house is 99% completed and I LOVE it! Here is what's happened this week.

One More Week!

Just wanted to post some random photos today. We are soooooo close to completion. I'm ready for the painters to get out :) After they finish all the touch up painting, they can actually start cleaning and put in all the finishing touches. I'M READY TO MOVE!!!! I have definitely learned patience throughout this entire project, but I'm not sure it's working anymore :)

We have sod and the flower beds are formed.

The area below is going to be mostly fenced for a tiny, tiny courtyard with a fountain, garden and stone pavers. Just enough area for entertaining, but not much more :) We chose to have a small courtyard as opposed to a larger yard from the experience of having both. The latter has proven to fit our lifestyle much better.

I love the back splash, but the photos don't do it justice.

Hopefully the next post will show a COMPLETED house.....????
